About the Lab

Spanning 2200 sq. ft., the Tinkering Lab at PSVPEC is a dedicated innovation space designed to promote hands-on learning, creativity, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Equipped with tools for embedded IoT, robotics, EVs, and 3D modelling, the lab empowers students to turn ideas into real-world solutions.

Managed by student teams and faculty, it enables advanced projects and prototype development, fostering a strong culture of innovation and entrepreneurship on campus.

The RESPIREX DIY ventilator project.

RESPIREX

A low-cost, open-source DIY ventilator designed to be rapidly manufactured during health crises. It provides essential respiratory support and can be assembled using readily available parts and 3D-printed components.
